The Thayer High School Choir under the direction of Cathy Deckard presented a musical program.
ARTS AND CRAFTS SHOW: Trena Spears announced that there would be an Arts and Crafts Show on December 12 at Thayer High School. This is a benefit to help purchase choir robes for Thayer High School Choir members.
NEW MEMBERS: 8/28 President Steve Russell inducted new member, Jason Miller, from FNBC. 9/4 President Steve Russell inducted new members Nathan Criss, Scott Carter, and Seth Bryant. 9/25 President Steve Russell inducted new member Jason Andrews.
HUNGER HERO CAMPAIGN: Bob Eckman announced that the 2015 Hunger Hero Campaign would start on Monday, November 2 at area schools and businesses. The purpose of the campaign is to benefit area Food Pantries.
POLAR PLUNGE: Trena Spears announced that she, Kim, and Ken McKenzie would be taking the Polar Plunge on January 16 in Crown Lake in Horseshoe Bend to benefit Special Olympics. Our club made a $500 donation to this benefit.
BOARD MEETING: There was a Board meeting on November 10 at noon at Fred's Fish House. Steve reported that the EAST Class at Mammoth Spring High School will update the "Don't Meth With Me" program.
DISTRICT SIMPLIFIED GRANT: Bob Cicigoi announced that our club had been awarded a $1300 matching grant which will be used to improve the Thayer High School Greenhouse.
ROTARY COMMUNITY GARDEN:
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED AT FEDERAL FISH HATCHERY: Volunteers are needed to help in the Gift Shop and at the ponds at the Federal Fish Hatchery.

Ivy is a senior and is the daughter of Kathy Buckner and Radford Williams. Her activities include FFA President, FBLA Vice President, Library Club President, Beta. FCCLA. and Student Council Representative.

Spotlight on New Members
SETH BRYANT Seth is Superintendent at Koshkonong School. He grew up in West Plains. He received his B.S. in Elementary Education from Missouri State University. He also received his Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and a Specialists Degree in Superintendency from MSU. Seth has taught at South Fork Elementary, been Assistant Middle School Principal at West Plains, was Elementary Principal at Koshkonong before being named Superintendent this year.
Seth is married to Tiffanie who teaches at Richards School. They have a four-year-old daughter, Roxie.
SCOTT CARTER Scott is the Funeral Director at Carter Funeral Home in Thayer and West Plains. He grew up in West Plains. Scott received a B.A. Degree in English and History from William Jewell College. He studied one year at Oxford University in Great Britain. He completed a MBA and Law Degree at Vanderbilt University. He clerked for the Chief Judge of Missouri Southern District Court of Appeals in Springfield for one year. He practiced law in the Kansas City area for 24 years.
JASON MILLER Jason is FNBC Community President of Fulton County. He grew up in Salem, AR. He received a B.S. in Finance and Computer Science from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. He is currently enrolled in the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. His previous work history included working for a Brokerage Firm as an Investment Professional.
Jason is married to Kelly. They have three children, Gabe, Madalyn, and Elijah.
NATHAN CRISS Nathan is the Branch Manager of Salem Bank in Mammoth Spring. He grew up in Salem, AR. Nathan attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and received a B. S. in Ag Business. He is married to Jenah who teaches kindergarten at Salem Elementary. They have two daughters, Abigail and Anna.
JASON ANDREWS Jason is the Principal at Thayer Elementary School. He grew up in Alton. He received a B.S. in Education from Arkansas State University and a M.S. in Administration from William Woods University. Jason was a PE Teacher and Coach for 13 years and was Assistant Principal at Doniphan Middle School for 5 years. He is married to Jan and they have two sons, Jalen-10th grade and Jordan-6th grade.
