Marcus Orf, Thayer High School agri teacher, discussed the current program and plans for future improvements.
NO ROTARY MEETING on Wednesday, November 19 and November 26. The next regular meeting is December 3.
SOCIAL EVENT: There will be a Rotary Fellowship event on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 6:00 p.m., Biggers Bluff Steak House, Hardy, AR.
COUCH LADY INDIANS were 11th overall in the Class 1 state cross country championships. Lady Indian Alessandra Moss placed second overall with a time of 20:20.
KOSHKONONG Cross Country Team placed 13th overall.
OCTOBER ATTENDANCE: An anonymous person will donate $1000 to the Rotary Foundation if we have 100% attendance for the month of October. Jennifer reported that we were two make-ups away from having 100% attendance. Nov. 12--WE DID IT!!!!!!!
NEW MEMBERS: September 10: Doyle Fink inducted two new members: Tonya Woods, Superintendent of Thayer School; and Marc Pitts, Assistant Principal of Thayer High School.
BOARD MEETING: There will not be a Board meeting on November 11. President Trena will announce the date for the next Board meeting.
GUN DRAWING: The drawing for the two guns was held at the end of the meeting on October 22. The winners were Alicia Williams and Carol Eder. Doyle Fink reported that Carol Eder presented a check for the amount of the gun back to Rotary in memory of Jack Eder, a past president of our club.
FOUNDATION: PDG and District 6080 Foundation Chair Raymond Plue presented a program on the Foundation on November 5. The District 6080 Foundation Banquet will be held on November 15 at the Reynolds Alumni Center in Columbia.

Ayden is a junior and is the son of Donna and Joe Henry. His activities include Football, Basketball, Baseball, Student Council Reporter, FBLA Vice President of Human Resources, FCCLA, Art Club, Beta, and Junior Class Vice President.

Adriana is a sophomore and is the daughter of Jeremy and Susan Pounders. Her activities include Art Club President, Band, Quiz Bowl, FCCLA, Student Council Representative, and Sophomore Class Secretary.

Hannah is a sophomore and is the daughter of Beverly Rackley and Robert Rackley. Her activities include Beta and National Honor Society.

Tricia is a junior and is the daughter of Brian and Lee Davis. Her activities include Basketball, Band, Quiz Bowl, Trap Team, FFA Secretary, Beta, National Honor Society, and Student Council Representative.

Andrew is a senior and the son of Tim and Sarah Garrison. His activities include Cross Country, Track, Basketball, Baseball, Student Council, Beta Vice President, FBLA Vice President, FCCLA, Youth for Christ, Science Club, Sophomore Pilgrimage, Boys State 2014, and Senior Class President.

Samantha is a junior and is the daughter of Jay and Robin Schalnus. Her activities include Beta Historian, FBLA Historian, FCCLA, Cross Country, and Junior Class Treasurer.
MAGGIE SMITH (November)**
Maggie is a sophomore and is the daughter of Edward and Pam Smith. Her activities include Youth for Christ, FBLA, FCCLA, Library Club Vice President, Beta, and A+ Program.
WILLIAM HANNAH (December)**
William is a senior and is the son of April and Allen Hannah. His activities include FCCLA, FFA, Beta, A+ Program, and Library Club.

Isophere is a senior and is the daughter of Teresa Lancaster and Rocky Pierce. Her activities include FFA Vice President, FBLA, BETA, and FCCLA.
TEANNA SIMPSON (September)****
Teanna is a senior and is the daughter of Melody and Robert Simpson. Her activities include FBLA President, FCCLA, BETA President, FFA President, Softball, and Basketball.

Chelsea is a junior and is the daughter of Johnny and Marie Holesapple. Her activities include Beta Reporter, FBLA Vice President, Softball, and Basketball.

Dylan is a sophomore and is the son of Steve and Teresa Wiggs. His activities include Basketball, Cross Country, FFA, and Beta.
Spotlight on New Members
Tonya is Superintendent of Thayer School. She is married to Allen Woods, Superintendent of Gatewood School. They have two children, Atley and Grayson. Tonya graduated from Mammoth Spring High School in 1993. She received her B.S. from MSU-Springfield in Speech and Theatre; a Master's in Secondary Counseling from MSU-Springfield; a Master's in Administration from SBU in Bolivar; Specialist Degree from SBU in Bolivar; and is currently on track to complete her Doctorate in May from Lindenwood University in St. Charles.
Tonya has taught in Seneca and Springfield; been a Counselor in East Newton and Carl Junction; Principal at Doniphan and Couch; and Superintendent at Gatewood.
Mark is the Assistant Principal at Thayer High School, He is Married to Megan Pitts, Thayer Elementary Counselor and has two children, Landry and Cannon, and a daughter on the way. Marc graduated from Thayer High School in 1998. He received a B. S. in PE and Health from Williams Baptist College, and a Master's Degree in Administration from William Woods University.
Marc taught at Kosh two years, Alton three years, and has been at Thayer for seven or eight years.
