The Eleven Point Anglers Association discussed the program that takes elementary students fishing and gives each of them a fishing pole.
Foundation Minute
Announcements
GOLF TOURNAMENT James Spurlock of Ozarka College, Mammoth Spring Campus, announced that their Golf Tournament would raise money for the JoKay Smith Memorial Scholarship. It is a four person scramble and the entry fee is $200 per team.
BOARD MEETING: The Board will meet Tuesday, May 14, at noon at Fred's Fish House.
COMMUNITY GARDEN:
ATTENDANCE: Each time a member attends a meeting their name will be placed in a drawing. If the member brings a prospective member to Rotary, their name will be entered in the drawing two additional times. Each month there will be a drawing for a Rotary item. Ruth Stevenswon the drawing for December.
OLD ROTARY MAGAZINES: Glenda asked each member to find a business or office to donate their old Rotarian magazines. The member is responsible for getting the magazines to the business.

Tyler is a sophomore and is the son of Pam and Sam Savage. His activities include basketball, baseball, FFA, Student Council Representative, Beta, NHS, and Trap Shooting.
Spotlight on New Members
ALLEN MOSS: Allen is from the West Plains area and is the Couch School Superintendent. He was the Principal at Koshkonong School for the past three years. He has a B. S. in Accounting from Missouri Southern University, a Master's in Secondary Administration and Specialists Degree in Educational Administration from William Woods University. He and his wife, Elisha, live in Thayer and have two children--Alesandra (10th Grade) and Jaekan (5th Grade).
JAMES SPURLOCK: James is from Viola and is the Director of Operations, Ozarka College, Mammoth Spring campus. He has worked for Ozarka since 2000. James has a Bachelor's Degree in Management from University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He is married to Samantha, and they have two children, Brooke and Matthew.
KENNETH MCKENZIE: Kenneth is from Alabama and is the Executive Director of the Oregon County Ambulance Service. The Ambulance Service is no longer affiliated with Ozarks Medical Center. He has worked for 30 years in Emergency Medical Service. He became a Paramedic in 1999. He is married and has two teenage daughters.
